Crowned with a sacred vase, the bottle holds an intensely scented love potion to delight all the senses. Smooth and sensual, luxuriant and contrasting, this fragrance becomes a temptation to give in to eternal seduction. Calice De La Seduction Éternelle is a rich, contrasted, and luxurious composition oscillating between opulence and depth. The fragrance opens on fresh notes of the essence of orange from Florida and aromatic tones given by the Bourbon geranium from Madagascar and the clary sage from Spain. This luxurious feeling is translated in the opulence of the floral bouquet, sublimated by the unique accord of rose, jasmine and natural ylang from Comoros. An unforgettable heart blooms at the contact of an intense woody accord built around incense, cedar wood and natural Haitian vetiver. This dry woody note is softened by an ambery note composed of cistus labdanum from Spain, vanilla and Indonesian patchouli lingering sensually on the skin.
Patchouli was discovered by perfumers in the middle of the 19th century on the Great Boulevards of Paris, where Cashmere shawls from India and Indonesia were sold. Wrapped in patchouli leaves to fight moths, the shawls, still impregnated with the smell, have proven to be a real client trap! After studying the colours or the patterns, they realized that the shawls owed their attractiveness to their smell! It was from this anecdote that patchouli was introduced into perfumes. Since patchouli essence is so expensive to obtain, it was at first adopted mainly by “demi-mondaines”, or "cocottes" (women maintained by wealthy Parisians during the Second Empire), thus giving the scent a sultry reputation and a connotation of seductiveness.
Tristan and Isolde brooch is made of gold, where male and female profiles form a cup with ruby drink, a symbol of eternal love.
