The Paris Mode range of hair pins
Paris Mode is pleased to present a wide range of beautifully designed and crafted French hair pins. Designed for any hair length and cut, our hair pins will help you to style your hair effortlessly, in a wide range of creative, voluminous styles. French hair pins offer a versatile styling tool to create half-up, half-down styles, buns, and wispy ponytails.
The Paris Mode range of French hair pins are made from high-quality Cellulose Acetate, a luxurious, environmentally friendly material originating from cotton and wool fibres, offering a strong, flexible hair product.
On top of providing effortless styling and all-day comfort, French hair pins are actually better for your hair than elastics or alternative styling means. French hair pins are not abrasive to your delicate hair strands, and will not pull, weaken, or damage your strands.
What type of hair suits French hair pins?
French hair pins are versatile hair accessories, best used in hair that is at least shoulder length. Those with thin hair, thick hair, curly hair, and straight strands can use French hair pins by twisting the bulk of their hair and inserting the u-shaped pin.
How to use a French hair pin
Create a bun:
1. Start with your hair down
2. Brush your hair to smooth out the ends
3. Collect your hair behind your head and begin twisting it all in one direction. As you twist, your hair will start to wrap in on itself into a bun as you get closer to your head
4. Once your hair is completely twisted, stick the ends of the pin into the spot where the end pieces of your hair in the twist – weave it back and forth to ensure it is secure.
To create a chignon:
1. Start with your hair down
2. Brush your hair to smooth out the ends
3. Collect your hair at the nape of your neck, as if you’re about to create a low ponytail
4. Begin twisting your hair around your thumb and insert the French pin between the nape of the hair and the top
5. Position the pin by directing the two prongs upwards and diagonal, weaving it up and through to tighten the hold
6. Pull some strands of hair out at the front to frame your face
